I am giving up this sorry saga for the evening. But when the elegantly elderly husband tried to check in for the apparently rebooked flight, the website told him that online check in was not available. Enough to make you anxious!!

Hello @British_Airways my elegantly elderly art historian husband went to see an exhibition in dublin today. Flight back tonight cancelled, he has nothing with him, downgraded onto a flight tomorrow, now in a very long queue to get into hotel room. This happens too often!

I am so glad that & I started because it has given me the opportunity to interview some of my favourite historians. Today was extra special as I got to chat with about her new book, I tried to not fan girl too much.
