#LivePDNation should be just as upset with racial injustice and #PoliceBrutality as it is with @AETV for cancelling #LivePD. What do you think got us here? Yes, I’m liberal. Yes, I’m a big LivePD fan. Yes, my scanner runs 24/7. The bad apples always ruin it for everyone.
I also believe there are far more great officers, as we have seen on #LivePD. But, that’s not really what we’re talking about here. I spent years as a first responder, dispatcher, ER tech, and more. I can assure you there are bad eggs.
Someday, maybe #LivePD will be back, but as long as we blame the networks; a political ideology; or people expressing their feelings, we won’t get there and we’ll be back here in a matter of months. The wrongdoers are to blame. Period.
Thank you @danabrams for being candid these past couple of days. I do believe you know the mistakes #LivePD made, but I also agree there was/is a place for accountability. @AETV still needs to address the situation though.
For the record, I think @thundacat830 is one of the most stand up officers I have ever seen,and he exemplifies the best in policing. I still like K9 Shep more, though!
