Tweetbot is pretty nice, but it has no hotkey and I still prefer the way Hibari handles saved searches.
@mjtsai Yes, I love the single list. Saves lots of time. But *no* integration with Twitter server-side searches is a bummer.

@wklj My understanding is that the Hibari saved searches *are* server-side. Do you mean you want to do one-off server-side searches? -
@mjtsai No. I had 4 or 5 terms I’d search on. But I had to manually manage all that on each of my OS X clients. Nothing server-side I see -
@wklj Oh, I see what you mean. I think Hibari searches using the server, but it doesn’t store the queries on the server like other clients. -
@mjtsai Correct. It’s searching Twitter data, but all the work is done client-side, and stored in local SQLite database. -
@wklj I know that the Search tab is not doing a client-side search because it finds matches from users I don’t follow. - View other replies

@mjtsai Specifically, you can “save” a Twitter search in one client and see it in all your clients or on the web site. -
@wklj Yes, I understand that. I’m fine with the way it works now. And I like the quick local timeline search. - View other replies

@mjtsai Yep, I do like most of how it works. Hibari is my 2nd favorite twitter client at the moment ;-) - Show more
