I don't have a problem with CodeQL but with the creation of databases over medium - large code. That's where it falls short.

We do have this for certain projects: https://semmle.com/large-oss-projects … But the good thing about having release CodeQL for free for OSS and academic use, is that you can build those big project yourself instead of using lgtm
