    It's fine. If we need an antagonist, don't make it McAfee. Make it the utterly broken solution that AV/AM is. McAfee is irrelevant. Broken shit is relevant.

    The history of antivirus/antimalware is NOT hacker/infosec history. The least we can do is recognize that AV/AM was broken from the beginning and actually requires breaking things to do *something* today.

    so a friend of mine who is a US citizen (born in Nepal to US citizen parents) got their passport revoked and needs to go through interviews (and probably hire lawyers) to fix their citizen status. Holy fuck Murica.

    100% correct ... working remote is a hell of a job.

    I think remote work is awesome for senior people but if you're more Junior and looking for only remote work, you may be losing out on some really valuable experience and lessons that you can't easily teach yourself.
