    2) We did a good overall job at predicting people’s reasoning accuracy, but even when throwing in every single predictor we could think of, we only managed to explain a fraction of the variance in conflict detection efficiency.

    We tried to predict people’s conflict detection ability and accuracy with a range of predictors. Key results: 1) Stanovich’s mindware instantiation (knowledge of logical principles) turned out to be the single best predictor of people’s overall accuracy and detection ability.
