I just read his biography and he was raised in my home town of Macomb, Illinois...it’s a small university town that has been struggling and dying for decades.

I'm an atheist and have nothing against religion. Whatever gets you through the day, more power to you. All I want to say is keep praying. I may not be a believer but at this rate, we have to throw everything we have at this terrible state we're in. Something has to work.
