    The real downside of being in Hawaii is that if you remember at 7pm that you didn't do the crossword yet today, your streak is already busted. 137 days down the tubes.

    Funny what you learn when you pay attention and apply pressure. 3 clean solves so far, and third puzz faster than #2? Stacking up better than Boswords, so far.

    Apologies if this comes off as self-aggrandizing, but I do hope putting my face to today’s constructor name allows more Black people/BIPOC who like crosswords to know that those who look like you do create grids so they can feel they can create puzzles one day, too!
