Is @willquince at the Save the NHS march in Colchester today? Just curious as it's a march for NHS not another political party.

What I don't understand about Tories is how they expect to sway people when they refuse to engage with non Tories on shared issues i.e. NHS
-
We do we just get shouted down. Happened to me out last night
-
Do you ever reflect upon why that might be? How it might feel to be a disabled person in Tory Britain.

Marchers are legitimately alarmed at Tory cuts to NHS. As am I. Not an angry mob just a mother stuck in bed. Your potential constituent.

I saw Tory Scum and Death to Tory posters, hardly kinder gentler politics stuff when political genocide is advocated.
-
Why are the Cons trying to cast themselves as victims here? Victims are those that can't get ops or stuck in hosp due to lack of soc care
-
Will, with the greatest respect an element of the march were advocating killing Tories. Regardless of party. FFS, not cool.
-
Did you or anyone else get video evidence of that? Shocking.
-
Honestly, Will, I'd take it on the chin rather than make a fuss.
-
Are you for real Will, you find that acceptable and something we should just take on the chin? It's wrong whoever it is directed at.
-
Source? And you're forgetting about the fuckup that is Brexit, which
@willquince is so enthusiastic about. - 3 more replies

Lots of Labour activists. Many (like me) refused Labour stickers. I view labour as bad for NHS as well. See privatisation act in 2005
-
Current Labour have a totally different view, thankfully. Odd behaviour from the Tory candidate though...
-
Not convinced that they do. Certainly not Tim who is a political parasite

Bigger picture

Would rather vote for
@MarkGoacher who want to improve things as opposed to boosting his ego. -
But split the vote for the left. Mark has said he agrees with 95% of the Labour manifesto Need an alliance here.
-
For a progressive alliance to really work in Colchester it would need a Labour - Lib Dem agreement. Obviously we would participate
-
You are making a big assumption that the public would like and agree to this kind of electoral stitch-up. I believe they wouldn't.
