    Here Officer Valerio blatantly violated the civil rights of one of our contributors, who he observed openly taking photographs of vehicles with missing & defaced license plates in our "car-free" . Then he & others flatly refuse to enforce the law.

    The deeper problem here is that NYC won’t pursue policies to reduce the amount of cars that flood our streets and instead leads it up to privately hired “pedestrian managers” to provide a modicum of safety.

    I spoke today to Audrey Murray, 59, who works for private companies that clean the Smithsonian and State Dept. She’s lost both jobs bc of the shutdown, and unsure how she’ll pay her mortgage on 1/1. “It’s just so depressing,” she said through tears.

    Here's on the Mosholu Greenway. All these vehicles parked illegally on the share bike/ped path endanger the users. And many of the vehicles may not be safe on the road either. fiddles while destroys our streets and car-free greenways.
