Actually, I think the Enlightenment’s scientific revolution DID bring with it an ethical revolution to match! e.g. Changing attitudes on sexism, racism, homophobia, slavery, children’s rights, workers’ rights, etc. And, no, these aren’t “Christian values”. see: history, Bible.

Great job, Will. I especially enjoyed the illustration of the impact on future generations. I’ve been following EA for a while now and nothing has made me respect the argument more than what was presented in this talk. I feel like the talk was useful for EAs as well.
