Three friends in the past week had friends held up at gun or knife-point in SF. I've never heard of anything like this in 34 years of being a resident here. What is going on..?

Result of having the absolute worst DA
@chesaboudin I had a homeless person move into my basement & we called the police to have him removed, but they let me know that the DA wouldn’t prosecute. So he had a new home This ultimately caused me to move out of SF12 replies 2 retweets 191 likes -
Seriously...? Isn't that trespassing?

Nope! We had another guest that was squatting on the house & according to SF law if you stay somewhere longer than 30 days you’re a resident. The not-paying-rent-squatter invited the homeless person in, so its “cool” Today they’re both still there, living for free. Poor landlord

If the SF law allows this then I don't think
@chesaboudin is to blame. Too many people are blaming him for things that were going on way before he arrived in office.1 reply 0 retweets 12 likes -
This is state law. Anyone who occupies a residence for more than 30 days (whether they pay rent or not) becomes a tenant who cannot be removed without due process of law.
