      This @StevenLevy article is an insult to nerds everywhere. Yes, some people are naturally more oblivious to social signals. Many of us work extra hard to get it right.       This sounds like a case where @StevenLevy wrote the article, and someone else at @WIRED wrote the headline. The article doesn't talk about clueless nerds at all.

      I see what you're saying, and appreciate the reply. The headline does take it farther. But "that same obliviousness" is a similar point. And I think Levy is far enough along in his career that he's not obliged to write under headlines he thinks misrepresent his work.
