i believe there is a huge difference between people like kavanaugh and weinstein and people like stallman. stallman did what he did because he was autistic, needed affection or sth like that. he did not use his power or hide. i feel sorry for him.

He absolutely used his power here. That's how he got away with decades of creeping on women: protected by status and dude pals with power. He just had less power than Weinstein.

There are men (always with more power than you) who tell you creepy things when nobody is around. rms was obviously not this type. People like rms (his intelligence apart) are victims of their lack of social skills. they are not misogynist monsters imho.

Nope. He knew what he was doing. It's possible to be on the spectrum and also be a misogynist creep. 1/https://mobile.twitter.com/raganwald/status/1174401421191593984 …
William Pietri added,
Reginald Braithwaite @raganwaldSick of takes suggesting that RMS is clueless, or suffers from a cognitive impairment. The man approached women at conferences, asked them to accompany him across the street, and then propositioned them. All so that his behaviour would not be covered the the code of conduct.Show this thread2 replies 0 retweets 2 likes -

Plenty of autistic people don't have Stallman's record. Why? Because they care about how they treat people:https://twitter.com/DLeagueFruitbat/status/1174000559638089729?s=20 …
William Pietri added,
Deb Moore @DLeagueFruitbatAutistic teen frequently says, "I don't know if this was rude, but..." and tells me about a situation. I tell him if it was (usually not), and we discuss. We both learn. He works hard. So yes, step off with that argument. https://twitter.com/williampietri/status/1173808944478707712 …1 reply 0 retweets 3 likes -

And they're called social skills for a reason: people can learn them. But only if they want to? Stallman didn't want to: 4/4https://twitter.com/mjg59/status/1172422966904160257?s=20 …
