i believe there is a huge difference between people like kavanaugh and weinstein and people like stallman. stallman did what he did because he was autistic, needed affection or sth like that. he did not use his power or hide. i feel sorry for him.

There are men (always with more power than you) who tell you creepy things when nobody is around. rms was obviously not this type. People like rms (his intelligence apart) are victims of their lack of social skills. they are not misogynist monsters imho.

Sick of takes suggesting that RMS is clueless, or suffers from a cognitive impairment. The man approached women at conferences, asked them to accompany him across the street, and then propositioned them. All so that his behaviour would not be covered the the code of conduct.

I've spent significant amounts of time trying to help Stallman understand why aspects of his behaviour were harmful. The problem isn't that he's unable to understand, the problem is that he's unwilling to.
