    1. Let's be clear here. The NRA's has absolutely called for journalists to be beaten to death. She denies it, but the record is clear. It's just that she's so flippant with such violent threats that she has perhaps lost touch with what she has said.

    The level of outrage from conservatives regarding mass shootings is directly proportionate to to the race and religion and immigration status of the shooter. Because this is a white, non Muslim man who isn’t from a country on Trump’s banned list, this means no outrage at all.

    The moment we didn’t see a picture of his face and then got word that he was taken in alive, we knew the mass shooter in Annapolis at the Capital Gazette was white. American police are adept at taking armed white mass murderers in alive. Unarmed Black men altogether different.

    Every journalist, and those who support us, should retweet this. I can't think of a single other President in my lifetime who would have acted like this. Perhaps he fears questions about whether his anti-media rhetoric played a role?

    The killer targeted the paper for covering the case he lost for social media stalking a former classmate. He harassed her and she lost her job. His death threats filled Twitter for years. , time to fix the rampant toxic misogyny here.
