You could also add to that: if it’s important for Congress to keep documents classified in order to perform their oversight/legislative functions (like the ICIG transcript), why isn’t it important for the executive branch to do the same to perform its executive functions?

They do not believe in separation of powers. The President already produced more than he needed to when he released the transcript of his call with President Zelenski. He, as the co-equal Executive Branch, must be afforded the same privileges.
