    Allira the beautiful sea turtle was found stranded on a beach. Suffering with pneumonia, she was rushed to the Wildlife Hospital for help. Thanks to the expert care of the Wildlife Hospital Team and , Allira is on the road to recovery.

    Thank you for your support to care for koalas in need of help. Our Hospital has treated 9408 koalas since we first opened. We also conduct important research into treating koala disease to better protect them into the future. We couldn’t do all this work without you!

    Harper the squirrel glider joey & her two siblings were orphaned after their tree was cut down. Her brother and sister luckily escaped injury, but Harper suffered wounds to her leg & tail. Thanks to Wildlife Hospital and her specialised carer, she is recovering well

    Meet Vinnie double-barred finch fledgling. Vinnie & his 3 siblings, Johnny, E & Turtle were admitted to the Wildlife Hospital after they were found alone on the ground. With around the clock care from a specialised wildlife carer they will soon return to the wild.

    This is Fatu, and this week she celebrated her 20th birthday! 🥳 She is one of the last two northern white rhinos on the planet, and lives at Ol Pejeta Conservancy in Kenya, where Wildlife Warriors assist in protecting these beautiful animals from poaching! 🦏 Photo: Chris Ang

    At less than 1 gram, Harry the baby feathertail glider is one of the smallest patients at the Wildlife Hospital! Harry and his siblings, Ron and Hermione, will soon be transferred to a specialised wildlife carer. Check out that teeny-tiny paw!

  17. Bucky the short-eared brushtail possum sadly became an orphan after his mum was hit by a car. Thankfully, he escaped the accident unharmed and is now with a specialised wildlife carer who will provide the long-term love and support he needs to return to the wild.

  19. Flatback turtles have an incredibly unique appearance – especially since their hatchlings have blue eyes! As their name suggests, they have a flat carapace (shell), which is unlike the curved shell of other sea turtle species. Aren’t they amazing?!

  20. Sully the squirrel glider was found all alone. Thankfully, a kind rescuer brought him to the Wildlife Hospital and after a health check from the dedicated team, Sully is now with a specialised wildlife carer to raise him until he is ready for life on his own.
