  12. Rangers at Sre Ambel confiscated a royal turtle from poachers last week, one of the world’s most endangered freshwater turtle species. The turtle is now with who will tag it with an acoustic transmitter so that researchers can track its movements upon release.

  16. Last week, we were alerted to a forest fire along Road 48, between Trapeang Rung and Veal Pi, as a result of illegal land grabbing and wildlife hunting. Great work by our who quickly arrived at the scene and put out the fire.
