    We have an update about our toe-amputee Recovery has been going well and the bandage has now been removed. The bird is now using both legs perfectly and it shouldn't be too long before it can head back to freedom.

    This arrived with a sticky substance covering its wing feathers. Inspection found it to be some sort of glue - potentially from a glue trap. Our vets spent time over several days gently cleaning the feathers and you would not believe the difference! Updates soon!

    Our mangey has been making fantastic progress over the past few days! Although she still has a lot of recovery time left to go, her mange is now under control and her fur is already starting to grow back. She is now, finally, able to open her eyes!

    Our little squab has been doing a lot of growing over the past few days! Having already doubled in weight, it won't be too long now before it starts looking a lot more recognisable!

    Amazingly, we have some news about the we rescued from a tree last year! Thanks to information from the ring number, we can reveal she is an 8 year old female (originally from Staines) who is now part of a mated pair near Hampton Court! Amazing news!

    PLEASE PICK UP YOUR ! This had a plastic bottle ring around his neck, causing horrible constriction injuries. Luckily, he was caught in time and should make a full recovery, but others might not be so lucky and recovery will take time...

    The we admitted over the weekend has now had its toe-amputation operation and is making a good recovery. There is still a period of healing and antibiotics left to go, but it is bright and lively and will be released once fully fit!

    is TINY dove (weighing just 8g!) was brought into the centre after falling out of its nest. With no injuries, it is currently being fed round the clock by our vet and teams. It shouldn't be too much longer until it weighs a lot more than two sheets of A4 paper!
