The suspiciously simultaneous censorship of Infowars by Google, Apple, Facebook came just one week after U.S. Senate intelligence committee hawk Mark Warner (D) circulated this policy paper threatening new regulation against those same media companies: https://graphics.axios.com/pdf/PlatformPolicyPaper.pdf …pic.twitter.com/Qdo0frJbPJ

FB and Google transcend the occupation of private "media companies." FB and Google are similar to the monopoly that AT&T once was. They already have exploited their power to aid the government and have had their databases plundered. Transparency and regulations = inevitable.

They R acting as a political arm of the deep state. They should be held accountable as a political arm! The block all politicians they don’t like & push those they do. That is blatant political discrimination.

It is & that’s why people like @ProgBlacksmith1 @jimmy_dore @KyleKulinski, me & others were arguing that what happened to Alex Jones will soon be used to silence anyone who disagrees with the establishment centrist elite who run our country.

Yup. I'll always appreciate @Ellahbie for her support, because she was there (along with a few others) from the very beginning defending me from these fake leftist cretins. Now, I can see that more people like her are proud to speak out with me, too, and we all formed a bond.

Haha❤️ how can someone forget when a person has their back? That shit is rare. Everyone wants to be on the side that is popular, because they're misinformed sheep. Meanwhile, the principled people do what's right. The haters call us purists, but we're proud of it, so fuck em.

I know... I was so exhausted with all the bickering with those annoying trolls that I could barely concentrate on what happened last night. Sad to see that El-Sayed lost... he was a big one for us, but he's still got a bright future, so I'm sure he'll run again for something.

I agree and am concerned about Republicans staying in power in Michigan after all we've seen thus far. I believe Abdul was the strongest candidate to beat Shady Schuette. I hope Dems have a plan beyond bludgeoning voters into voting 4 them. Repub turn out blew Dem Turn out away.

This reminds me of when Joe Lieberman & others in government pressured Amazon & Paypal to block Wikileaks. It was wrong then and it's wrong now.https://www.theguardian.com/media/2010/dec/01/wikileaks-website-cables-servers-amazon …

Senators using "private" corporations as a cut-out for them to attack dissenters they disagree with is very dangerous for our democracy.

In my opinion by banning Infowars, Facebook and google are editorializing and thus should be held responsible for every word on their platforms. Nothing stated by Jones was illegal.

I agree, I actually argued with someone else about that. However, this document appears to want to place liability on websites regardless of whether they are editorializing or not.

Any regulation of these social media sites is a horrifically bad idea. Free market forces (competition) as slow and initially unappetizing as it feels, is the only long term & effective solution! Having Congress create laws/regs will have incredibly bad consequences!

@apple @facebook and @google just collided to silence a news network that supported Donald trump big time. They cannot be allowed to do this election meddling without consequences. #collusion
