1/ When we saw the whitewashed image of Obama, Jay Z & Beyoncé, we were disgusted & ashamed. It never should have been on wikiHow.https://twitter.com/beyupdates_/status/823268475087060992 …

6/ This doesn’t excuse the fact that we hosted a terrible image on wikiHow and we needed more diversity on that article period.
7/ We’re talking with our illustrators to prevent recurrence and encourage diversity. Especially in positions of power.
shutup. YOU KNEW.
artist knew!
of course the artists knew, they copied the original pic of Obama & Bey
The illustrator knew, but the colorist didn't.
u clearly haven't seen BOTH pix so stop
Keep in mind: Impact >>>>>>>> Intention
Curious that the colorist managed to guess the colours of the dress, suits and ties so accurately @wikiHow.... #whitewashing
so you don't white wash...but your workers just assume everyone's white? Got it...
doesn't think the pic was intentionally whitewashed, but Obama's hair was changed from a caesar to one commonly wore by white men
2/ "I don't know the race let's just go with white"...it's an automatic thing and that's the problem...
But do you see how that's still a problem? Maybe he didn't know, but he just assumed a congressman should be white.
So your position is that the colorist coincidentally made the suits, ties, and dress the same colors as in the photograph?
JAY Z IS ALSO IN THE PICTURE
Sketcher obviously whitewashed. Colorist just went with what was pencilled. Obama's hair is my evidence. *shrug*
hmm maybe the colorist isn't at fault but the illustrator definitely didn't draw Obama's hair as it appears...today or ever
