Well just from a players perspective, the SBMM in Modern warfare was extreme and I don't want a repeat of that. I played for hours upon end on the older cods I listed, and even if they all did include SBMM, It wasn't at all noticeable.
Perfectly valid viewpoint to have. SBMM is one of many many tuneable parameters in a matchmaking system. It's funny watching people talk about it like its a big switch that can only be turned on or off.

Main problem with sbmm is it clearly just throws “find best connection” out the window, in all the games that have been heavy sbmm everyone has higher average ping which is just a much worse gameplay experience for everyone

Respect for being open about this. I understand it needs to be there to some extent, but please tune it down for this game. I hated how every game of TDM in MW felt like a sweaty CDL match, and I know most of the community would agree with me on that.

When people say they can turn it on and off, they mean the strict sbmm, the older cods had sbmm like giving very low level players their own lobbies essentially and balancing teams in lobbies, but in MW, it was literally just like playing with people with the exact skill as you
