    Today, FSU's Intro to Scientific Diving class held their underwater physics lab, including demonstrations of Boyle's Law and Archimedes' Principle. The class also practiced deploying surface signal buoys, tying knots, and assembling an underwater puzzle. (1/2)

  13. I am not the “who counts as a real scientist” police, but a person who charges money to take tourists swimming with sharks while not collecting data of any kind (or allowing others to collect data) is running a wildlife tourism business and is not doing science.

  14. Inbox: you ask for photos of peoples shark office decor, stickers, etc., why not shark tattoos? Answer: I did that once. Not everyone’s shark tattoos are in PG-13 locations on their bodies, and not everyone with a tattoo in such a location is shy about sharing photos of it.
