made a simple meme video (misheard lyrics) 3 years ago. ended up having to write a rendering engine, an mlt plugin, and a script to generate images that was actually probably the easiest route though haha. maybe the rendering engine could have been replaced by blender tho
really hope someday the state of video editing/creation will be better under linux... there's pretty much no good alternative to after effects afaik if anyone knows of a project that wants to do this though, i'd love to contribute :)
I just use Blender for Video editing (even though its not as good as other software for that job). Since I don't want to pay for a limited licence
i agree, but for me it takes so long to render the video and preview it too... is there any way to make it faster?
