.@TeamYouTube I know new uploads tend to be pushed to subs more in the first 48 hours typically, and then we see a noticeable drop off, but I’m seeing that happen after only 24 hours now- is this new?

What?!? How? Why?! Losing views in never a thing I've heard of, or frozen views for that matter

Sorry I actually fell asleep for once at around 2
so I’ve been dealing mostly with the frozen views, but if you Twitter search “YouTube frozen” or “YouTube stopped” “youtube decreased” you’ll find more examples of what I’m talking about1 reply 0 retweets 0 likes -

It’s so hard to explain mostly because I just don’t get it, so the frozen views I can explain kinda cause I dealt with it last week, so upon uploading you can have a great thumbnail, be high up on your search criteria when u keyword your vid & still the first day of uploading

Your video will start out normal then literally just Freeze where you get no views for hours, even a day or like 1 view & its a dramatic thing you notice because you know your channel and you know your average starting views on the first day & this isn’t it honey!!

Then you think oh it’s the YouTube “spam threshold” thing where they’re “verifying views” well at and after that “3 day mark” of “spam verification” you...don’t get your views back.

YouTubers who have been used to getting a certain amount of views in the first day can barely get that amount in a week now because of that initial lul, for small YouTubers they say if your vid isn’t above 100 most people won’t watch, well if it can’t get to that in the first..

Day, the way that it normally would have before, you lose one of the most important periods of view growth for your subscribers to see/watch your videos, then you have to hood & pray your video gets searches & recommended later on, or else no one will watch at all.

Now the decreasing views that I’ve seen are on my personal analytics where I don’t even know what my views are because my real-time vs Views are all different, so is the view count when u search my videos, so is my views on channel page. It’s strange to see so many fluctuations

But when I searched “decreasing views YouTube” on twitter I did find people who have better examples of their views actually decreasing and not coming back. So this was the longest ramble thread ever but I hope somehow it made sense and helped
