Find it a little bit strange that @TeamYouTube have totally ignored this tweet.

Hey, Mumbo. I'll send you my email via DM and we'll have the team look into it.

It takes 25k retweets for you to look into this *one* incident? What about the hundreds of other times this is happening each week? Just fix it. Corporatism is killing channels.

He's the head of gaming. It's not even remotely his job to deal with this. He's going out of his way to help out when he doesn't have to.

It's not the head of gaming's job to intervene and lobby on issues that directly and consistently effect gaming creators? What? Of course it is.

Have you ever had a job mate? You have a set role and a remit within that role. If he personally dealt with every issue that came up he'd do nothing else. Eg. It's not a building manager's job to clean the toilets. If he feels he must then he's going above and beyond.

Not to mention that this isn't an issue affecting just gaming creators, it's affecting everyone. This isn't something
@Fwiz should have to deal with on behalf of@TeamYouTube so he shouldn't get grief from people when he rolls his sleeves up and gets it sorted.1 reply 0 retweets 2 likes -

Yes, I have had a job. I'm currently working two. And yes, when an issue does not fall precisely within my job specification that does not prohibit me from helping to deal with it. He's head of gaming, to suggest he has no role in lobbying to resolve MAJOR issues 1/2

that effects gaming creators on the daily is an absurd proposition. Not entirely sure why you're going with that line, frankly. No, he's not solely responsible. But it shouldn't take 25k retweets for him to notice the issue and lobby for a resolution. 2/2

He's not responsible at all. He didn't create the YouTube algorithm, he didn't implement the system for claiming other people's videos and he has nothing whatsoever to do with

Also;
"it shouldn't take 25k retweets for him to notice the issue"
Do you think he should stare at Twitter all day every day just in case @TeamYouTube miss something?
If not, what the hell do you want him to do?

If you think the head of gaming is not supposed to lobby on issues that directly effect gaming creators then I don't really have anything else to say to you. Apparently words mean nothing. My point about retweets is they've known the issue has existed for months 1/2

2/2 yet we've seen no action to resolve it. But 25k retweets and the head of gaming personally intervenes. Lots of creators can't get 25k retweets, though. The system needs fixing and I think it's absolutely his job to help lobby for that. Goodnight
