By highlighting injuries like this and not reporting every serious injury inflicted upon civilians by the police, you’re perpetuating the narrative that protestors are the aggressors. Be better in upholding fair and honest media coverage.

We would like to report on the injuries of the protesters. If you personally know any of the people injured, please have them call our news room at 256-534-7226. Or they can email us directly at news.department@whnt.com.

They have to highlight these little marks on what i assume is a human head to try and push the idea that police are getting roughed up to anywhere near the degree that *completely peaceful and defenseless* protestors are. They aren’t. Not even close. It’s violently one-sided.

I literally just watched a video out of Huntsville AL where a group of reporters were trying to get away from a cloud of gas, and a bunch of cops forced them all back into it. So recent it's still in my copy pastehttps://twitter.com/greg_doucette/status/1268397070563414016 …

It's actually just the blood off of his night stick that fell on his head as he was swinging it again.

Poor officer dude has a couple spots on his head. This young lady’s face is disfigured from a rubber bullet that was not designed to be fired directly at people. It’s time for the pOlice to admit that there are vicious and heartless cops in there ranks. Where are the good cops
