although not an absolute requirement like a T12 cartridge soldering iron, one of the most handy tools for rework jobs that i have is a 6000 lumen LED floodlight that i hung over my table. doubles as light therapy for depression to be honest, i want maybe two or three more of 'em

I've got a few of those flood panels. I need to hook them up.
-
do not look directly at the operational end of the device
-
Did you get just the COB panels, or a full lamp assembly? I'm deciding if I should heatsink the back of mine (probably)
-
full assy. this is a philips bvp161 led60/nw lamp
-
How's the color rendition? I should just buy a couple of those if they make them in 120v and not mess with my cheap modules.
-
no idea about 120 V, but it has an onboard SMPS, it's not just a string-of-LEDs thing, so it probably exists the CRI is pretty good for a floodlight, 70. i like it a lot

Similarly, I have 3 x 20W of LED light bars hanging on the ceiling of my room. It works pretty well.
-
(They look like fluorescent-tube light bars; them being bar-shaped and three of them next to each other helps to spread out the light across the entire room. I can see the room light up even in full summer daylight...)
