dead phone and i need data? get new phone, swap the flash. have a laptop and don't want to bother binwalking bios update? desolder the flash and read it. don't know where the testpoints lead? i can just take off every large ic on the motherboard no big deal incredible

i literally only used a silicone mat, a cheap noname soldering station with a Hakko T12-K cartridge for cleaning the balls, a stencil with some random chips to make it flatter, a cheap noname hot air gun, RMA in EtOH flux and RMA flux gel to do this

haha no you don't use reflow ovens for bga rework. and for assembly... well... i use a simple vapor phase soldering station of my own design
