Toby, here's the correlation of mobility to implied infection peaks from both deaths & cases. You haven't a leg to stand on, other than pretending that official dates, e.g. Mar23/Jan4 somehow denote the exact point behaviour changed. When they don't. Just give up the madness.

On what basis would you oppose this?! What are your plans for the vaccines otherwise?

So you made a valid point that a PCR positive doesn't always mean you're infected or infectious now. But then made a nonsensical claim that this explained why cases were going up but hospitalisations weren't.

Went to buy the paper and the newsagent asked why I was buying 2 and I said (excited), I work there, I’m on the front page. And he looked at me and at the picture and went “dunno about you love but that’s Prince Philip”

When in 1719 John Woodward FRS and Richard Mead FRS had scientific beef about the best way to treat smallpox, one faction ended up writing an entire comic opera about the other before they fought a duel so pointed QTing doesn't seem too bad in comparison.

Adding one more to the pile of “probably a vaccine effect” charts: this is England cases for the over-80s, expressed as a % of total cases. Having been stubbornly static over the last month, it’s taken a clear turn down in the last week 1/6

ICYMI This chart is probably starting to show the vaccine effects, admission falls for those age groups that have had the vaccine is faster (and accelerating?) than those groups that haven’t.

You know what, after several days of dealing with a backlash on here based upon the schools debate, I've had enough. Scientists are humans. Please remember this. And just to prove it, here's a goat on a skateboard:

Well this is interesting. Email from DHSC: prioritisation for the vaccine will be partly handled by an algorithm
