@PaulLewis Appreciated your piece on James Damore. Precious few understand how difficult it is for autistic people to navigate a politically correct world that is so quick to take offence.

Thank you. I spoke to experts who told me this is a complex area but an important one to talk about, so I was keen to tackle the subject sensitively. Raises all sorts of questions, not least for employers.

Absolutely. I commend you for your nuance and sensitivity. A lot of hysterical reaction to the piece already with folks saying "being autistic doesn't excuse misogyny' etc., but I really feel these people miss the point.

Yes, as I said in the piece, James did not once use his autism to excuse his actions. It is a long article, so I imagine there may be some people who form a view without fully reading it through to the end.

Have you no shame? You were trying to explain every little dumb thing he probably is regretting saying: KKK tweet? It's autism; the memo? Autism. The stupid tweet comparing society to a bird? Autism. What else? Masturbation skit? Autism as well. In conclusion James, do you feel*

Are you doing his PR? He's not an incel misogyst, he has a gf! & she's a feminist. He's not a sexist. I can't show her but I assure you, she exists... I'm surprised you didn't mention the ethnicity of his imaginary gf. That would've taken care of the racism cloud over his head.
