Why is it not really? Stealing is wrong. If I steal a million dollars and pay a fine, what penalty should you face for stealing ten dollars? Equality under the law is the foundation of our entire government.

In 2016 Wells Fargo created more than a million fraudulent savings accounts. Just opening *one* such account is a felony. Not a single person responsible went to jail.

You do realize that consumer banking regulation was completely overhauled after Wells Fargo. So much so that banks are starting to pull credit for a checking account, which only harms the poorest among us. So your consequences you so desired actually hurt the people more
