Rubbish!!! Postcodes narrow it down more than enough. The house number or name does the rest. It ain’t broke. What3Words is great for pinpointing remote locations (their original intent) Also they overestimate the average British person’s ability to spell three words correctly.
what3words is a great addition if a postcode is not accurate enough. And you are right in that it is useful to pin point remote locations. Pretty useful in Japan too.
