Rather using complicated 10 digits code, why not use just three words @what3words
This was my first thought exactly..
Language barrier, run out of words.
Also words are easily misspelled and pronounced. Not numbers.
what3words is available in 22 languages (with more coming) that you can easily switch between, and every 3m x 3m square in the world already has been assigned a 3 word address, so no risk of running out of words! Finally, what3words has an AutoSuggest feature that detects errors.
