In the app you can choose loads of different languages. Wonder how well the words map to different languages though?

Long-lat are difficult to remember and addresses don't work as they can move and are often stale. The three word system solves those issues. It's unlikely to actually replace the incumbents tho.

I kind of treat locations like phone numbers; I don't really remember them; they are something that goes into my phone. Places are only interesting because of what's AT them; the location specifier is a detail that computers can deal with. My 2p. Maybe 3 words is for the phone.
