Hi Sara, what3words addresses are fixed and will never change. That’s how what3words is able to work offline and needs no updates or database 
Oh fab. It's a brilliant thing. My hubby put it on my phone as I take my dog up the Cornish hills and I've got lost a few times (look luckily found my way back but always better to be safe!)
