Has anyone seen the adverts for a rescue app or some kind of thing. Every square metre on the planet has a three word code, so if you are lost or injured and you have a signal, you can be pinpointed exactly. I don't know anyone you, but this isn't just about rescue... Creepy.

That's the thing. So we can be pinpointed at all times.
what3words doesn't track the location of its users. A user can choose to communicate a location with someone else by simply sharing the three words. It is being used by delivery companies, car manufacturers and taxi apps as well as emergency services.

Obviously this came from the military, who as we know, are at least ten years ahead of what is presently being used.
