Sounds like really good idea..good to see on news.. but a bit confused as surely if you dont have signal then you cant tell anyone the 3words?
Hi Peter, to share a what3words address over the phone or in a text message you need phone signal, however without phone signal the app functions the same as when you have no data connection: you can discover your what3words address and view any what3words address you enter.

It's brilliant idea and thank you for explaining! - I guess that it must be using a local Dictionary Database to hold the words that can be accessed while offline.
