That's cool you're using whatthreewords! Is that you/your team specifically or is it common? I haven't seen it much for remote sensing..
We’ve just been finding it easier when doing fieldwork as only a phone is needed. We screenshot the what3words for each datalogger location, then take an imagine of our site. Then you batch convert the what3words to lat longs on their website. Also useful 4 citizen science links
