From a police perspective, yes we do. It’s integrated with our C&C system to give a location. I’m a die hard map and grid ref sort of person so took a while to come round to W3W, thinking there was nothing wrong with promoting OS Grid Finder app etc.

I’m a fan. But passing locations between dispatch and police resources shouldn’t need W3W. If the location is being shared electronically, as it should be, W3W provides no advantage.

@what3words address - many are older folk, they can use that it calling@swasFT and might make it easier to find the house, often unnumbered - Show replies
