But I can do that with Google maps - so how is this app so different?
Hi Rik, the challenge is communicating location. Services are not set up to receive map pins as a message and reading out a long series of coordinates is prone to error. 3 words are very easy to communicate.pic.twitter.com/IdjAL6KJzz
I love that it empowers everybody in the world to have an address too, no matter what their socioeconomic status. And you don’t need to own a device to ‘have an address’ — you just need to know what the address is to be located.
