Found that google share location is better, although not tried much with no signal. When tried sharing what3words it didn’t send the location in the email. Possibly because that’s not the point but for purpose of being lost this helps.

Yes testing it for lone working in remote areas, as an option, but I suppose you would just send the words?
Hi Alison, in settings you can select to share the what3words address as a link that the recipient can just click on. (In the form http://w3w.co/word.word.word ). The system works without data. We have been built into a number of lone worker apps already.
