This is a very interesting way of assigning geo coordinates to places. I’m wondering if this might be easier to navigate, if only the three-word assignment would follow a logic somehow...

One of the biggest issue is language and internationalism (not everybody speaks English and not all words are translatable). And, nope! There is no logic and/or open algorithm for generating the words. This is another challenge for people like us!

Simple & common words are placed where those languages speakers are likely to be. Similar sounding 3 word addresses are placed far apart, to identify errors easily. Direct translations wouldn’t allow these product features. Agree on different benefits of different systems.
