W3W is great but why not use the mobile phone location which is automatically relayed with every call through the AML standard? Surely 999 systems are plugged into that?
what3words provides a simple & portable way to refer to precise locations in an emergency, especially by voice. It compliments tools like AML by allowing services to pass that location much more easily between different parties. (1/2)

Thanks for clarifying. I can see it working in this case as long as it doesn’t end up delaying AML adoption — don’t want to be asked for 3 words when I’m upside down in a ditch!!
