I still can't stand side-scrolling content. I don't know who thought that was a good idea, but I'm adamant that was a bad one.
Something I’ve learnt from my OS switching is that it’s far easier to deal with on macOS than Linux/BSD. The trackpad drivers in macOS seem superior and as a result side swiping is more accurate and responsive.

It's more than just drivers. They clock their touchpads rediculously high hz with adaptive down-clocking. Also, coated with ground glass.

My understanding is the firmware is also different than you'd get for those same controllers in other computers.
