Would love it if the BSD projects adopted a process like the Go project has. They now accept PRs on GitHub but still use their preferred workflow for review.
I feel it would drastically reduce the barrier to entry for contributors.

It’s great news that this is possible. There are 11 open PRs dating back years in the repo though which gave me the impression they‘re ignored. Perhaps a contributing file could be added to make the stance clearer? https://help.github.com/articles/setting-guidelines-for-repository-contributors/ …
