Nice post. I have a Void install on my laptop alongside Arch that I’ve been meaning to use more. I’m a FreeBSD user too. Curious to know more about this bit in the post: > It’s still not quite at the same level as FreeBSD’s pkg, but certainly close enough.

Well it might not be noticable for you, but all your distros have pretty darn fast package managers. Try installing a bulk of 20 packages with pkg or xbps, then later try installing the same 20 packages with a thing like apt or yum, you'll instantly see what I mean

It's more in regards to pure processing speed of packages, I don't really use that many neat features
