I actually sketched out an idea for this 10 days ago (great minds think alike). Do you think it’s worth pursuing? What do you think the benefits are over projects supplying their own binaries via CI? Who do you see as the target audience for such a service?

This was discussed lots of times since ~2015, but, unfortunately, while implementing it is relatively simple, nobody has been ready to dedicate necessary CI & hosting resources for this (which would be potentially significant).

I'm working on a similar thing, but its usage is strictly limited to the CI environments, as downloading unverified binaries from internet is a bad idea generally
