If you have a CalDAV account on e.g. NextCloud, you can use the iOS Reminders app with it. I haven’t tried to find a desktop/console client for that, but I’m sure there’s plenty

Wondering what you ended up with. Since your tweet I’ve been trying out Todo.txt CLI on desktop and
@SwiftoDoApp on iOS. Surprisingly, the overal experience is quite pleasant. -
I got iOS Reminders talking to Fastmail and accessed that with calcurse on Linux. It seemed perfect until I discovered that Notes didn't sync fully... which was mandatory for my use case. Frustrated, I shelved it for now and have continued using Wunderlist

Come on people. Replies telling me to use vi are not helpful, nor do they address the very clear requirements. I use Neovim daily. I’m well versed in its use but it’s not the solution here.
