This I promise you: Hiring people to maintain an Elm or PureScript app is not your biggest problem. Your biggest problem is the amount of maintenance your JavaScript app needs.

While I agree 100% (or more :P) with you, do you maybe have some empiric evidence for this claim? Something that one could use in a future argument. Or is the maintenance of JS/Elm/PureScript something you need just to experience yourself or to trust somebody.

Sadly I have no hard evidence save experience. It’s most sharply felt whenever I have to go back and work on a JavaScript project. Life becomes filled with problems that really shouldn’t exist any more.
